Vietnamese Bride Customs

Three significant ceremonies take place in a Vietnamese wedding on the same day. Le dam ngo, the vicar’s family’s visit to the bride’s to publicly request for her hand in marriage, is the first ceremony. The two people transfer items and conduct rituals to represent the family’s union.
